  • 1.  SRX1500 starts in Windriver Linux and unable to clean install new Junos from USB

    Our company bought a complete decommission and there are 4 SRX1500 among the devices.

    All starts with Windriver Linux, not in Junos. As they seem to be corrupted we decided to clean install junos from USB. Technically I tried everything, but the installation always stop with some reason:

    • unable to clean partition table
    • device is not sata
    • cannot open disk size
    • etc

    I tried to play with the bios, setup IDE, ACPI, device is hard drive, SSD, tried all SATA connection, write image with rufus / Win32diskimager and still unable to install junos on the devices.

    Did I miss something? I'm getting so confused by now. Any help appreciated.
