Seems odd. After a reboot a new dhcp request should be issued and responded to as a matter of course.
What steps are you taking during the move that forces the dhcp to work?
Perhaps just bouncing the existing port either via CLI or uplug/plug the cable would also generate the new request-response?

Subject: SRX-340
I am using SRX340 at home, the setup is as follow.
Fiber comes to Nokia ONT (which has one fiber port and one ethernet port (1/10 gig) the Ethernet Port is connected to SRX 340 on Interface ge-0/0/15 (SFP to Ethernet)
Interface ge-0/0/15 is configured to receive DHCP address from ISP.
The problem - Whenever SRX reboots, the same interface (ge-0/0/15) does not get DHCP address from the ISP. I have to change the interface to some other interface for eg. ge0/0/14 and then it gets the dhcp address from ISP.
Any reason why is it doing that ?
