    Greetings Everyone!

We currently have a SCG 20 but are looking at moving to the SRX series with our next hardware refresh.

What would be the SRX equivalent (or closest) to our SCG 20?

I am thinking the SRX 210 but thought I would ask first.

    THANKS!

I assume you meant "SSG20", in which case, for all intents and purposes, the SRX100 is more than a "match" for it, purely on performance numbers.

The SRX100 supports significantly higher firewall throughput, higher VPN throughput, and more concurrent sessions.  The only spec (on paper) where the SRX100 is lower is the new connections per second.

If you need the different WAN options, the SRX110 adds built-in DSL (POTS or ISDN) and 3G/4G capabilities.  If you need different options than that like T1/E1, etc., the SRX210 has more options for Mini-PIM cards.

I can get the SRX 210 with 1 years of web filtering for $1372.78 from Dell (they call it the Power Connect J-SRX 210).

Thank you for your recommendation.  We'll be going with the 210 as a 5 year solution to make sure we have options and plenty of room for growth.
