  • 1.  More than two devices in a cluster

    Hi!

Has anyone tried to implement an NSRP cluster with more than 2 devices in a VSD group? Does it really goes just as well as with two devices?

Is there any limitations, pitfalls, etc?

    Hi,

You can still only have a maximum of two devices in an NSRP cluster. There is a misprint in the latest documentation that will be corrected.

    Kind regards

    A.

    Ups!

It was a good idea to ask here.

    Thank you.

However I tried doing just that, I built a cluster with four nodes. Strange behavior with pre-empting, however it works. Next week I will try using three nodes including session failovers and will report if it works 🙂

I hope it isn't a misprint in the latest release documentation, because I really need it in the environment I'm designing.

    Hi,

It may work, but it's not supported by JTAC, so I would not recommend it.
