  • 1.  LTE Mini-PIM Configuration

    I am having difficulty getting my head around a 2 SIM card setup. I cannot figure out:-


    1. How to successfully define Profile 2 for the second SIM. It never shows up under: 'show modem wireless profiles'

    2. How to configure failover from SIM 1 to SIM 2, and back again e.g. when SIM 1 has no, or poor signal. I assume this must be a feature, but I cannot find any relevant documentation.

    3. I cannot find the profile config e.g. the APN name in the CLI Editor of J-WEB. Is it stored on the Mini-PIM itself?

    In case it is of help to anyone:-

    1. Each SIM has its own set of 16 profiles. I misunderstood how this aspect worked.

    2. This is an undocumented feature. Support from Juniper has been requested.

    3. This is held on the Mini-PIM card, and not in the host SRX config.
