ISIS One LSP per ethernet frame?

    Hi everyone,
    OSPF can fit in as many LSAs into IP payload  as permitted by IP MTU on the link.
    Now when I contrast this behavior, I  notice ISIS router only sends single LSP  per Ethernet frame even though more than one LSP can fit without exceeding the MTU. I am wondering if this is a standard behavior. If it is, then what is the point for checking neighbor's MTU using hello padding if we are not going to generate full size frame carrying more more than one LSP during new adjacency ?
