  • 1.  IP problem

    hi all, I'm a newbie to Netscreen products.  I don't know much about configuration.  I currently have a problem setup my Firewall SSG-140.

     

    My network is Internet -->  modem --> Router --> switch.  I want to put my Firewall between Router & switch but when I set IP for untrusted port 0/2, it prompted me that illegal Ip assignment.  I think it doesn't allow me to set same IP class between router and internal network.  I cannot change either router or internal network IP.  how can I fix this?

    Install ur firewall in transparent mode. for configuring transparent mode check http://kb.juniper.net/KB9065
