SRX

Hi everyone

we are planning to install a new SRX 1400 and we need to activate IPS services

my question is do we need to buy IPS module like ISG series or does already IPS services is built in at SRX 1400 hardware and software ?

I need some information about how to install IPS soultion for SRX series

The IPS is onboard the device.

From the spec sheet for the SRX 1400:

"Consolidation of multiple security services into one chassis-based system (IP, GTP, and application firewall; IP and GTP IPS; NAT; IP and application QoS; dynamic routing; application identification, tracking and reporting; and more"

how can i generate IPS license as you told it is on board. everytime whenever i try to commit the configuration it's giving error of IPS license.

Hi,

You can contact Juniper customer care to generate the IDP license for the SRX-1400 device. Once you get the IDP license, you can follow the below KB article to configure
