Ah right, that was easy. So it wasn't able to shut off before it could boot again. I was just wiping it thinking it couldnt boot up at all after.
Thanks

Showing the uptime before rebooting is very typical of JunOS. At any rate, have you tried just turning it off completely and then starting it back up? What's the output then?

So it does.
Maybe thats a virtualisation thing? The vSRX is a node in eve-ng.
Eve is a vm in vmware workstation.
So that error is showing after the srx reboots. Uptime shouldnt be 8m so must be eve's uptime.
Thanks,

In the output you provided, the "Uptime: 8m16s" suggests that all the output is prior to the actual reboot. [IT Crowd] Have you tried turning it off and on again? What's displayed after that?

Hello, Hoping you can help my issue.
I think I have the vSRX nodes cabled correctly. But after a reboot, both devices go into a loop and can't boot back up into the cluster. Image shows the cabling of the two nodes and then then the errors on console for one of the devices. Can you see what the issue is or do you need anything else? I disconnected all other cables except mgmt and control link in both devices ge-0/0/0. Thanks.

Hi Fadito,
I haven't done it my self but as far as I could see/investigate it can be done following the conventional method, just make sure you meet the pre-requisites and be aware of a few caveats using EVE :
https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/vsrx/topics/task/multi-task/security-vsrx--kvm-chassis-cluster-configuring.html
Caveat: Clustering on Juniper SRX with EVE
For SRX to support clustering, here are few things to keep in mind
The SRX in Cluster mode runs fairly well on EVE , however the interface mappings on EVE is different than regular. This is due to the SRX getting a new interface (em0) as second interface Card – so if you select ge-0/0/0 in EVE, you really select em0.
EVE is platform and is Clustering unaware. So you will have to tweak a few things
From top down the first Interface in EVE is fxp0, the second Interface is em0, the third is ge-0/0/0 or 7/0/0, the fourth is ge-0/0/1 or 7/0/1 and so on (see the Table below from Juniper)
