  • 1.  Change Ethernet Interface

    Hello,

     

    Product: SSG-350

    Untrust: Ethernet0/2 (Coper)

    Untrust: Ethernet3/1 (Fiber)

     

    I want to configure the firewall with all the policy's, MIP's and so on.  Currently the untrust interface is ethernet0/2. When the SSG-350 is going to production I want to use the ethernet3/1 as the untrust interface.

     

    Can i do just before the SSG-350 is going to production a export from the current config and change all the ethernet0/2 ports to ethernet3/1 and do import from the changed config file ?

     

    Will this work ?

    Reading a post before, if the interface is in NAT mode, then need reconfigure the interface perameters mannually. If in the Route mode, then would be fine.

    The untrust interface is in Route mode.

    I have moved a configuration from SSG140 to SSG520 this way and it worked fine.
