  • 1.  the config mode issue of SRX3600

    There are 2 SRX-3600s,they are HA each other.My question is :

    1.If I want to use the "commit confirmed ",how  can I do it?

    2.what the meaning of "configure dynamic"?

    Hi

    1) Try hidden option of "configure exclusive". It allows you to do
    commit confirmed on chassis cluster. Exclusive means that no one else
    will be able to configure the box at the same time. This is done
    for stability.

    2) When entering "configure dynamic", you make changes in a so-called
    dynamic database (not primary config file). This mode is primarily
    used for very large (thousands and more) prefix lists in ISP configs,
    to do faster commits, and not usually needed on SRX (and I'm not sure
    if it will be working there).

    the hidden command "configure exclusive",I try it before,however,SRX don't allow to use this command,and I will try it again.thank you.

    Hello,

    I wanted to try a 'commit confirmed' on an SRX210 cluster (Junos 10.4R4.5) but I was told that this feature was not available at the moment for JSRP clusters even with 'configure shared' or  'configure exclusive'. Am I wrong ?

    However it's a great feature and would be a great news if I can use it.
