  • 1.  SRX 650 Strich High with shaping rate

    Hi everyone,

     

    Strich High queue with Transmit rate , has unlimited bandwidth i.e  rate is not considered  which can starve other queues. We can not use exact with HIGH Priority,  rate  limit is not supported.

     

    I am wondering if we can use shaping-rate with strict high queue  to avoid straving other queues, my concern is  if shapping rate is consiered for strich high or it is ignored just like transmit rate.

    I did a quick test on SRX110 and can confirm that strict-high priority + shaping-rate is limiting the bandwidth.
