  • 1.  New JNCIA-SEC

    Posted 12-20-2021 00:04
Exam details page for JNCIA-SEC advises that "On January 10, 2022, there will be a new exam for the Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Security (JNCIA-SEC) certification."(JN0-231)

What about the old JN0-230 exam? Will there be a transition period where one'd have a choice of passing either JN0-230 or JN0-231? Please advise

    Best Regards,
    Nikita

    Hi Nakita,

As you noted, we are releasing an update to the exam for the Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Security (JNCIA-SEC) certification on January 10, 2022.

The JN0-230 exam will end of life (EOL) on January 9, 2022. Candidates who prefer to take the JN0-230 exam must do so at a Pearson VUE testing center or online prior to the EOL date. After that date, the JN0-231 will become the live version of the exam.

This change reflects a refresh of the exam item bank--the exam objectives will remain essentially the same so all available certification preparation resources are applicable to both versions. Detailed exam information for the new Security, Associate (JN0-231) exam can be found here.
