On January 6, 2020, there will be a new exam for the Juniper Networks Certified Professional, Enterprise Routing and Switching (JNCIP-ENT) certification.
The JN0-647 exam will end of life (EOL) on January 5, 2020. Candidates currently preparing for the JN0-647 exam should plan to take it at a Pearson VUE testing center or online prior to the EOL date.
This change reflects an update to the exam. Detailed exam information for the new Enterprise Routing and Switching, Professional (JN0-648) exam can be found here.
According to published info JN0-648 removes RIP from curriculum and adds EVPN to it. It's only limited to EVPN-VXLAN or other forms of EVPN are also expected to appear on exam?
EVPN items on the JN0-648 exam are not solely limited to EVPN-VXLAN scenarios/deployments. To prepare for the exam, make sure you have a firm understanding of general EVPN concepts, such as multihoming, load balancing, route types, and integration with VXLAN.
Unfortunately, we cannot be more specific in our response without giving away to much about the live items on the exam.
Sure thing. Thanks for answer! 🙂
