  • 1.  What is preventing my devices from communicating with each other? urgent !

    because of this situation I am having a hard time doing tests please offer a solution
    my devices are not communicating between each other urgent help
    devices : QFX 3500 
    Although the correct ports are configured between 2 devices, why can my devices not communicate with each other?

    Hi @echo,

    As far i know vQFX is  based on QFX10k. Your version is too old and sometimes vqfx version 17.x have issue with PFE. Means u need to make sure vQFX-RE finish loading first before u power on vQFX-PFE.

    thank you, I waited for re to fully boot up and then I started pfe and waited for a while and pinged between the 2 devices 

    After defining ip addresses to ports between 2 mutual devices 
    I didn't feel the need to do any extra configuration, is it supposed to be like this?

    Hi,

    Yes.....dont need extra step. As long your ip p2p is correct subnet after that then it should can ping p2p next router.

    I am having problems with the communication between both of my devices and the results in the screenshots I posted are the same on both of my devices.
    show chassis fpc
