The virtual router routing instance is created within an SRX or other Junos router.
Once created specific sub interfaces are assigned to that router.
When these interfaces are connected to the main router the link is then treated like any other link for route peering by any protocol.
This example of creating multiple virtual routers to peer with external routers show the commands for a BGP based setup.

Happy to be part of Juniper Community. I have a query regarding virtual instance & route import options. I attached a lab diagram which has VSRX1 device and vr111 does these two devices are separate are VSRX1 virtual router is vr111 and VSRX 1 is physical device. Can you help me here? How this virtual routing instance works and with respect to import route options as well. Explain the necessary commands with the help of diagram attached along with this post.
