i'm setting up a guest Access WLAN for technicians that visit my company via the MIST AI Interface.
There are the required fields for name, Email and Company, but it doesnt remove the Email field from the Guest Portal when i deselect it in the configuration. I can deselect the "Comapny" field just fine.
Is there a way to remove the Email field from the Guest Portal or is this a permanently required field (or a bug) so i would have to work around it?
This depends on the the method of authorization selected, for example if I select "Sponsored Guest Access", this is a mandatory field (so the conformation information can be sent to the requestor). If you use no authorization or one of the social platforms this should go away.
thanks for the confirmation. Seems like a poor design chioce, as you can choose not to "email guest when approved/denied" when using sponsored access which would make that field unnecessary.
