Yes - for HA for the Conductor, the only thing you need to think about is latency and loss between Nodes. Must have latency of no more than 100ms and packet loss no greater than 1%.
Router Nodes in HA need to be collocated. The big considerations here are:
1. It is a Device Interface by Device Interface HA, so you can have some interface on Node 1 active and some on Node 2 active.
2. Be aware of the MAC address and IP address of the interfaces that are in Standby. They will revert to what you configure in the host OS which, if it's the same as the Active interface, will lead to conflict.
3. Synchronization is very important, so make sure you have an NTP server.
