    Hi Liz,

     

    I already have JNCIP-M, and I am now starting to prepare for my JNCIE-M, is it wise to start now or should I wait for the lab to change.

     

    I am not sure when the lab is changing , since Juniper only said that it will change in first half. And also when it changes , how much overlap period will be there.

     

    Appreciate if you could let me know. If I have atleast 6 months in hand, then it is worth studying for the present lab.

    Arijit,

     

    The JNCIE-M exam will be available at least through the first half of 2011.  The new JNCIE-SP exam will not be availalbe until June. 

     

    I suggest that you continue on the M-series path if you need your E level before June of 2011.

    I expect that the JNCIP-M will retire IN the month of June, 2011.  You should plan to take it before mid June.

    Hello Liz,

     

    I am Japanese, and I want to take an examination of JNCIE-M in Tokyo,

    has the JNCIE-M examination been scheduled in Tokyo before it is upgraded to JNCIE-SP?

    It wishes a lot of lab examinations to be held in Tokyo because there are a lot of Japanese who want to take an examination of JNCIE.

    Kosuke,

     

    We will be putting a lab exam schedule up for Q2 in Tokyo.  The Q2 lab schedule will be available here http://www.juniper.net/us/en/training/certification/exam_registration.html in the first week of December.  Yes - the JNCIE-M exam will still be live at the beginning of Q2.

    Is the examination that will be done next Q2 JNCIE-M?

    Is it not JNCIE-SP?

    The JNCIE-M will be available to the end of Q2.  The JNCIE-SP may also be available in late Q2.  We will run both exams for a 60 day period to allow for a better transition.
