Hi team,
did several Junos upgrades years ago, but now I hit the wall like this.
SRX> show system snapshot media internal
Information for snapshot on internal (/dev/da0s1a) (backup)
Creation date: Mar 28 07:06:57 2023
Information for snapshot on internal (/dev/da0s2a) (primary)

SRX>
Initially, the SRX240 of a client, booted from secondary partition.
I tried to copy the system image from secondary to primary, but got the same error message
Then I suspected the image might be a bit compromised, so I uploaded the slightly newer version via Web GUI,
seemed to work, but can't find it. I can't get into the shell for some reason, it bounces me with no message.
SRX> request system snapshot slice alternate
Formatting alternate root (/dev/da0s2a)...
Copying '/dev/da0s1a' to '/dev/da0s2a' .. (this may take a few minutes)
The following filesystems were archived: /
SRX> show version
Hostname: SRX
Model: srx240h2
JUNOS Software Release [12.3X48-D75.4]
SRX>
To add an insult to the injury, I can't start shell with root account.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Alex
