    Hi Dhikra,

I would suggest to check the connectivity between the two devices. The hold timer expired error suggests there is a communication issue and the BGP keepalives are getting lost.

    Things to check would include:

    1. Physical connectivity - is there packet loss between the devices, congestion etc.
    2. Routing - do both devices have a route to each others loopback address. Is this route stable?
    3. Resources - Are both devices capable of handling the number of routes you are advertising, do you see high CPU consumption on one that might cause BGP keepalives to not be sent.
