  • 1.  MX204 port speeds

    Hi all,

    New to the MX204 but not Junos and have a question on the port speeds for PIC 0, Do first 4 ports only support 100g, 40g & 4x10g via breakout cable or is it possible to use a 40g to 10g adapter to set a port to a single 10g?

    If the MX is similar to the QFX, the ports are 40G, 100G, 4x10G or 4x25G and you have to set the channel speed at the chassis level. I believe the only way to get 10G is to use a 4x10G breakout cable.
