MX series and ACX's Series Midplane Revision

    is the midplane revision a requirement for high-end configuration ? 

    we have experienced that providers  & distributors have a hard time clarifying the reason behind REV & Part number changes 

    specially for the parts : 

    • MIC
    • DPC 
    • Chassis

    When  the Revision is higher than the required from our engineers it automatically changes the Part Number , is there any documentation that can clarify this ? 

    • Documentation about Midplane Revisions
    • Special cases &/or Exceptions
