Hi
I following link it was mentioned we need to have Enhanced midplane on MX960 to have line-rate performance on MPC010E-10C
https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/release-independent/junos/topics/reference/general/mpc10e-10c-mrate.html
I want to ask what does this mean?
as far as I know this card has 2xPFE with 500Gbps capacity. Now I install 3xSCBE3.MX Chassis has this part number:
MX960-BASE3-AC
Will I have Line-rate Throughput(1Tbps) on MPC10E-10C or I will have 800Gbps?
Thank you
check output of "show chassis hardware | match Midplane"
it should show "Enhanced MX960 Backplane" for Enhanced
Thank you for the Answer. But question is Does MX960BASE3-AC have Enhanced Midplane by default installed or Not. It must installed separately?
Any what does "3" mean in "BASE3" and what is difference with "BASE"?
Yes, on base3 it is by default
base/base2/base3 difference is only in preinstalled components. Which also can be upgraded
Thank you for the answer.
Personally, I did not see Base2 mode. Only BASE and BASE3. Anyway, your answer is short and suffice.
Best Regards
Alireza
