Hi,
quick question regarding JunOS 12.3R12 for EX Switchtes. On the software download page it says "Limited - EX4200 Series" for JunOS 12.3R12.
What does limited mean? I can't find anything about it.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Regards
As I remember the definitions:
worldwide: Ny crypto at all, so only telnet and http management.
limited: ssh and https management, but no dataplane encryption (eg. MacSec)
domestic/no name: crypto both for management and data plane.
Thanks for your help! That's it I think. With this information I was able to find this:
http://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/junos/topics/concept/macsec.html#jd0e140
"MACsec is not available on the limited Junos OS image package."
https://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=TSB16869
"Limited encryption Junos image..."
So it's indeed releated to crypto features.
