Why doesn't juniper show the ge-0/0/0 etc, interfaces?
Over here it does... So I guess you're giving way too little information. -posted to the "Switching" community Earn 6 Juniper certifications.Free training/Discounted exams Switching Post New Message Re: juniper not showing the ge-0/0/0 etc, interfaces? what platform etc ?but I have often seen this with faulty hardware. I think the control plane cannot talk to forwarding plane so it sees no interfaces. I also see this is on the vQFX if you delete this line in config
set interfaces em1 unit 0 family inet address 169.254.0.2/24
The platform is eve-ng. the router version is (vmx-bundle-22.4R1.10) that's connected to the switch PFE version (vqfx-20.2R1-2019010209-pfe). I also have the switch RE (vqfx-20.2R1.10-re-qemu) that's connected to PFE (vqfx-20.2R1-2019010209-pfe).... their connected by em1 internal interface.... same issue on both. What version are you suing? maybe I can contact support for that one.
I'm using the interfaces shown as int, in eve. also version 22.3R1
I wonder do I have the wrong PFE connected to router? In your topology it says r1-fp, but mine says the following in picture. I know you can re-name them... but i've seen a few that's named FPE as default
Please check on your qemu option.
Qemu options? What am I supposed to be looking for exactly? Are you talking about when I imported the files through winscp?
I'll try to ask support for a different copy. Your vmx is version 22.3R1.... what's your qfx version?
I would not trouble support they will not support this , otherwise they would get flooded with requests.
Ok, I will not ask them about the issue. I'l just check if they have the version. So, vqfxre-10k-f-20.2r1 is the version for the routing engine, what's version for the forwarding engine?
