Good Morning David - while I would agree that the JNCIP-ENT is built upon the JNCIS-ENT, I think the breadth and depth of knowledge needed are much broader. On the JNCIS-ENT exam you will find specific but more general level questions whereas in the JNCIP-ENT you will be delving deeper into the technology, understanding what actually makes the devices and protocols work.
I do not believe that you will find similar level questions on the exams, and although you might get lucky and pull a JNCIS-ENT exam with similar topics, I would expect the overall approach for each exam to be different. JNCIP-ENT tests the depth of knowledge you have on Juniper devices.
Hope this helps!
Mike

Subject: JNCIS-ENT and JNCIP-ENT at same time?
Hi all,
Since JNCIP-ENT seems to build on JNCIS-ENT I was thinking it might be efficient to study for and take both at the same time. I have a lot of experience with other vendors and JunOS so figured going in at P level might be feasible.
Is this a done thing and is this something that people would commonly do?
Thanks!
David.
