You need to enable email notification if you like to receive alert over the email.
Once you follow the instructions below you should be able to receive email notification when POE status changes. If still you are not receiving the email notification, i would suggest opening a MIST support case in MIST dashboard right corner as attached image.

Subject: Is it possible to monitor EX data switch fans and psu's via Juniper Mist?
Hello Vijaypal ..
Thank you for the quick response ..
Actually, what I'm trying to do is have the EX switch alert me if a PSU (power supply unit) stops functioning or loses power. Is this possible in Juniper Mist?
Note, I checked both boxes for the 'Switch Power Supply Alarm' and then did the following:
1. Pulled power plug from the power supply
2. Pulled one of the power supplies from the switch (simulating a bad power supply).
The switch never alerted on either of the above tests.

Hello Ricky,
I hope you are well.
Yes, it is possible to configure alerts for POE and you can receive an email when status changes.
Please follow Juniper MIST documentation for same -
https://www.juniper.net/documentation/us/en/software/mist/mist-aiops/topics/task/configure-alerts.html#:~:text=To%20configure%20alerts%3A,the%20context%20and%20time%20period.
https://www.mist.com/documentation/alert-types/#:~:text=There%20are%20three%20groups%20of,do%20not%20need%20any%20action.
Do let us know this helps.
Best Regards
Vijaypal

Subject: Is it possible to monitor EX data switch fans and psu's via Juniper Mist?
Hello All ..
I have a small network (qty=15) of Juniper EX data switches that are currently monitored via Juniper Mist. Is there a way to monitor/setup email alerts should a fan or psu fail on the switch? If so, does anyone have any work instructions?
Thank You - Ricky
