  • 1.  IPoE configuration Error on MX204

    Hi
    I have configured IPoE on MX204 for my subscribers on Eve-NG Lab according to the guidelines of juniper article below:
    [Subscriber Management] Configuration Example - end-to-end IPv6 or Dual-Stack IPoE Subscriber (juniper.net)
    However, when I attempted to commit, I received the following error:
    root# commit check
    [edit interfaces demux0]
    'unit "$junos-underlying-interface-unit"'
    Can't get unit # for ifd demux0
    error: configuration check-out failed

    Has anyone any good solution for this or any better configuration guideline for IPoE.

    You misread the Juniper article:
    it didn't talk about any «interfaces demux0» parameters, but about some «dynamic-profiles PROFILE_NAME interfaces demux0» stuff. 
    Not at the same config level.
