Hi Lai TzeChing
I haven't found an official solution yet. Currently, my approach is to first obtain the total traffic and the IPv6 traffic, then perform a subtraction calculation. The remaining data should be the IPv4 traffic within a reasonable range.

Hello Gary!
I've encountered the same confusion. Have you found a solution yet?

Subject: How to monitor IPv4 and IPv6 traffic separately using snmp on dual stack device?
Hi
Our network runs more than a hundred juniper devices and recently turned on dual stack mode, but found that IPv4 traffic could not be distinguished on the interface running the dual stack.
I filter IPv6 traffic using (jnxIpv6IfInOctets/jnxIpv6IfInOctets) and monitor all traffic using (ifHCIn1SecRate/ifHCOut1SecRate),
but I can't find a single oid to use to identify IPv4 traffic
Is there an IPv4 only snmp oid or other best practices to distinguish IPv4 traffic on juniper devices?
