  • 1.  How to clear ospf database ?

    I have a small topology with 4 Routers in area 0. I have 4 type 1 in ospf database. I shut down one then run clear ospf database, I still see 4 type 1.

    Anyone to purge that one out ?

    Likely this is from the other routers.  The db is shared so when you clear one router it will just learn the cleared entries from the others until the time out finally does occur.

    Once the MaxAge is reached (3600 seconds) by either timer or sent by the router/originator of the Router LSA, the Router LSA would be flushed accordingly.
