  • 1.  export domain administrator and Sysadmin from a 2005.1 NSM to a 2007.3r5

We are currently in version NSM 2005.1 on a Redhat 3 platform. In order to migrate to  NSM 2007.3r5, we installed a new redhat 4 platform for the NSM 2007.

We want to retrieve all our local NSM admin accounts (sysadmin domain administrator) created under the 2005.1 NSM and import them in the new fresh 2007.3r5 NSM install.

Do you have any idea of how retrieving this local accounts ?

It is not advisable to do this manually due to the changes that have occurred between the 2 releases.

The admin users, domains & roles are stored in mutiple files across multiple domains.

I would suggest restoring the complete database onto the new server & performing an upgrade to 2007.3r5.

    Thanks,
    Chandra
