We just moved our HQ, updated the SRX's and EX devices to their respect JUNOS 21.4R3 recommended versions.  Everything works fine.  Ran the request system snapshot slice alternate  on the SRX345's, no problems.  Tried to do the same for the EX4600 standalone, and our EX4300-MP virtual chassis.  No such luck there, since the snapshot command is gone.  Checked the release notes and didnt see anything.  Checked the KB and Tech Docs, still nada.  What have I missed, or what has changed that I am missing?

There is no alternative partition to snapshot on the EX4600 and EX4300-MP devices. The EX4600's let you snapshot to a USB drive and the EX4300-MPs don't support the snapshotting feature.

When did the snapshot feature change for the EX4600 and EX4300's?  Was it hardware, or JUNOS "enhancements"?

I don't believe there was ever an option for snapshotting internally on the EX4600 and EX4300-MP. Snapshotting is available on the standard EX4300's just not the Multigig ones.

Try "request system snapshot recovery" instead of it.
