  • 1.  EX4300 VC redundancy

    Hi,

     

    I want to build redundancy in between two EX4300 VC. IF any 4300 VC down/up i should get 20 Gig uplink for 3300 VC.

    Please suggest cable connectivity & media in between two VC.

     

    Please find attached network diag. Below are the cable & media which used for connectivity.

     

    EX4300 --> Cisco uplink = 10 Gig SFP+ port & fiber cable

    For EX4300 VC = 40 Gig, 1 M DAC

    EX3300 --> EX4300 = 10 Gig , 1M DAC.

    You can use minimum-links on the aeX to trigger failover to the alternate EX4300VC.

     

    If the failover impacts that application you could join both EX4300VC to a single VC with 2x10G links between members. With this approach you would have a single control at the distribution though.
