  • 1.  error message

    Hi, evyerone

    I downloaded a JUNOS 10.0 and tried to transfer it to EX-4200 by ftp

    but i got a message as the below

     

    ftp> get jinstall-ex-4200-10.0R1.8-domestic-signed.tgz

    Software is 102MB. is it downloaded full size?

    How can i get more space in Switch?

    Help me out please

    Hi Jeff

     

    If you type the command "show system storage" you will see the available space under your system.

     

    If you want to make some space around you can use the command "request system storage cleanup" to erase some unusefull files.

     

    But mainly I would advise you to download the software file under the /var/tmp directory.

     

    so in your case try this command

    get jinstall-ex-4200-10.0R1.8-domestic-signed.tgz    /var/tmp/jinstall-ex-4200-10.0R1.8-domestic-signed.tgz
