  • 1.  CoS on GRE Tunnel Interface?

    Posted 05-23-2024 04:50

    Hi all,

    I'm see this url https://www.juniper.net/documentation/us/en/software/junos/cos/topics/example/tunnel-cos-example-cos-config-guide.html   is it just need to configure at one side only?The current device in my network was MX480 and MX240. The purpose to create GRE tunnel as backup link to establish IBGP.

    Thanks and appreciate any feedback

    With CoS you need to mark on egress and process on ingress.  So if you need the queuing to occur in both directions of the flow then it would need to be setup on all devices that the flow crosses.

    Hi Spuluka,

    I;m facing below issue even i'm already enable flexible quing mode .

    show interfaces queue gr-0/0/0
    Egress queue statistics  are not applicable to this interface.

    run show configuration chassis
    fpc 0 {
        pic 0 {
            tunnel-services {
                bandwidth 1g;
            }
        }
        flexible-queuing-mode;
    }

    Thanks

    Hi all,

    Just to update from JTAC regarding my issue. After junos version 18.4 the feature can see each que on GR interface already disable. So no other way we can check traffic statistic entering the que on GR interface. Hopefully if someone here from Juniper Engineering team can bring back this feature on GR interface.

    Thanks
