  • 1.  Choosing hardware for BNG

    Hi community,

    Please share your experience with centralized BNG.  How do you correct the choice of hardware for BNG? For example, I need a new BNG on the network for 200K DHCP and PPPoE  IPv4 subscribers.  The best choice is MX router but what line card, which interfaces use, and so on? In some presentations, I found that one TRIO chip supports 32K subscribers. In another presentation, I read the 128K subscribers per slot.  Does anybody know where can I read Best Practice on how to create BNG?  I don't need information about software licenses. I need information about the hardware.

    Hi,

    Do u have local Juniper SE in your country? If yes then that Juniper should can advise u what card needed because they have internal info for best card in BNG.
