Hello David,
Currently there is no authority-wide user synchronization, so the order of operations shouldn't matter. Changing the password on the Conductor and Managed Router are independent events.
128T requires that the "admin" user exists (both within the product as well as the linux user.) The user cannot be deleted in either of the products user interfaces, and if the linux user was to be manually removed, the software will recreate them.
"install128t" sets the default password, so re-running it will not change the current password unless you also run "restore users factory-default" in the PCLI.

Subject: Changing usernames and passwords
Are there any "gotchas" for changing the default username/passwords? Specifically I mean the t128 and admin user accounts. Should these be changed on the Conductor first, or on the 128T combo routers first? Can the account name "admin" be changed without causing problems to running the 128T software? Does it require running the "install128t" program again?
Thank you in advance.
