    Hi,

I've currently got a M10i that has a cpu utilization that rose from 10% to 20%, and is now stable at 20%.

    - No interface flap

    - No major route increase (Number of routes remained reasonably the same)

    - No major traffic increase (we saw minor traffic increase, but we diverted the traffic to an other box, but cpu remained at 20%)

    - No configuration changes

    - No protocol up/down

Any ideas on the cause?   Especially that the cpu utilization has remained at 20%, there must be a process that is continuously using it.

    Thanks!

Please ignore my last post. I see now that your title is cfeb cpu. My mistake.

Do you have any firewall filters configured with log action that might have started receiving more traffic?

Firewall actions of log, syslog, or reject can increase the cfeb cpu utilization, if there is an increase of traffic hitting those.  There are other possible culprits.  But, those are some of the most common.
