  • 1.  22.4R1 System abnormally shut down / 0x1000:reboot due to panic

    Posted 04-04-2023 04:12

    Hi Guys,

We have upgraded the OS to 22.4R1 from 20.4R4 but we found the system abnormally shutdown randomly.  Does anyone suffer this issue too?  We tried to downgrade to 22.2R2 but it is the same.

    Model: mx204
    Junos: 22.4R1-S1.1

If you run this command you can find and download the core dump files that will have all the data needed for Juniper support to determine why there was a kernal panic.  With a kernal panic opening an official support ticket is probably your best option for a root cause.
