I did bandwidth upgradation but upload speed is not upto the mark. (17Mbps upload for 50Mb circuit). Kindly confirm if the "input filter" is the reason for this issue?. How do i correct it. (no issue at Layer 2)

    PE router Config:

    set interface xe-0/1/4 unit 91 description "CUST_CUST"

    set interface xe-0/1/4 unit 91 bandwidth 50m

    set interface xe-0/1/4 unit 91 vlan-id 91

set interface xe-0/1/4 unit 91 filter input 20m-in-b2048k

set interface xe-0/1/4 unit 91 family inet no-redirects

set interface xe-0/1/4 unit 91 family inet address 10.10.10.10/30

    Thanks

    Hi,

The input filter name suggests a 20Mbps limit with a 2048k burst size. So yes it is likely the problem as it probably has a 20Mbps policer in that filter.

Do you have another input filter for 50Mbps? If there is not already one created, I would suggest to create a new input filter with a suitable name and policer limit.

    Regards,

    Matt
