  • 1.  Junos Install ERROR: corrupted: contents/jpfe-X.tgz

    Hi everyone.
    I need help, maybe someone had such a case?

    I am trying to install a new version of image and I have this error :

    root> show chassis firmware
    Part Type Version
    SPMB 0 ROM Juniper ROM Monitor Version 14.2b1
    O/S Version 17.4X5.1 by builder on 2019-10-14 18:20:39 UTC

    root@:~ # cli
    root>
    root> request system software add no-validate reboot /var/tmp/junos-install-mx-x86-64-18.2X75-D60.6.tgz 

    Verified junos-install-mx-x86-64-18.2X75-D60.6 signed by PackageProductionECP256_2020 method ECDSA256+SHA256

    ERROR: corrupted: contents/jpfe-X.tgz
    ERROR: cannot verify /packages/db/pkginst.78122
    ERROR: Failed to add junos-install-mx-x86-64-18.2X75-D60.6.tgz

    Does anyone know why I have such an error? And how to fix it?

    original version OS Version 17.4X5.1 trying to install 18.2X75-D60.6 

    Device Juniper MX 2010.

    Hi,

    can you please do a "file checksum md5 ..." to check the integrity of the .tgz file? It should be 6a60440aa6ea404c3dd5b30f9a47a6ed and the size of the file 3.313.326.744 bytes.
