    Hello,

This is not supported. There are workarounds:

1/ use VRRP on this unit, no need for VRRP backup. Then this unit will accept 2 dst MACs: one from phys.interface, and VRRP VMAC.

2/ use stub bridge-domain with IRB instead of L3 subinterface. Changing MAC address on IRB unit is supported.

    HTH

    Thx

    Alex

    Hi

    Thank you for the answer.

    Only one stupid question here:

Can I form OSPF relation over VRRP address? As Far as I know OSPF is only formed over actual Interface(Maybe I am wrong)

    Thank you

    Hello,

OSPF adjacency using VRRP VIP as source IP is not supported.

That being said, BGP session using VRRP VIP as source IP is supported in JUNOS.

    Thx
