    Hi experts,

    I would like to translate event-options from non-ELS config to ELS config.

    As the ELS translator is decomissioned:

    https://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB33133&actp=METADATA

    Is there a resource where I can match non-ELS system log messages to ELS system log messages?

    For example, I would like to map

    ESWD_ST_CTL_ERROR_IN_EFFECT
    ESWD_DHCP_UNTRUSTED
    ESWD_ST_CTL_ERROR_DISABLED
    ESWD_ST_CTL_ERROR_ENABLED
    ESWD_DAI_FAILED
    ESWD_MAC_LIMIT_ALERT

    to the corresponding L2ALD messages like

    ESWD_MAC_LIMIT_ALERT ==> L2ALD_MAC_LIMIT_EXCEEDED_IFBD

    Any resource one could recommend?

    Thanks,

    Stefan

    You may use syslog explorer to compare log messages in ELS and NON-ELS versions. It will show log messages which are unique in both versions and common log messages. Or you can just type but dont enter non-els keywords (like _ST_CTL_) in search column and it will show corresponding els log messages (if any)
