    Anyone could share Juniper recommended 10Gig single mode long range SFP's for MX960 line card MPC4E-3D-32XGE-SFPP.

    The Juniper-branded SFP+ would be part number SFPP-10GE-LR.  If by "long range" you meant 40+km, then that Juniper part number would be SFPP-10GE-ZR or SFPP-10GE-ER, depending on your requirements:

    That said, quality standards-compliant non-Juniper optics will work in the MX960 and will often save you thousands of dollars.

    I have referred to that document already. 

     

    My concern here is am using the below 10g-sfp-LR interfaces

     

    PIC port information:

    10GBASE LR SM SumitomoElectric SPP5300LR-J6-M 1310 nm 0.0

    10GBASE LR SM SumitomoElectric SPP5300LR-J6-M 1310 nm 0.0

    10GBASE LR SM FINISAR CORP. FTLX1471D3BCL-J1 1310 nm 0.0
    10GBASE LR SM FINISAR CORP. FTLX1471D3BCL-J1 1310 nm 0.0

     

    These interfaces got disabled by junos due to below log messages.

     

    CHASSISD_FPC_OPTICS_HOT_NOTICE: FPC 5 temperature over 50 degrees C; non-high-temperature tolerant optics will be disabled in 535 seconds if condition persists

     

    sili21_RE0 fpc5 PIC 3 optic modules in port 5 6 7  have been disabled since ambient temperature is over threshold

     

    My concern is for the above log where it states " NON -HIGH-TEMPERATURE TOLERANT OPTICS", is that mean that those interfaces are not reliable for high temp. if so, please advice any suitable.

    You'd have to take a look at the manufacturer specifications for the optics to see what temperature they can operate at. 

     

    50C seems rather low for a high temperature alarm to me.  I have some MX equipment that runs at 50C and 51C right now that isn't issuing any alarms and fans are running at normal speed.
