    Posted 07-13-2018 01:51

    Hello,

the EX3400 Switches Hardware Overview says that QSFP+ ports can be configured as network port instead of VC ports (default configuration). But I didn't find the procedure to do that on the TechLibrary and on the J-Net forum.

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks for your help !

My initial VC configuration was :

    fpc0:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
Interface Type Trunk Status Speed Neighbor
    or ID (mbps) ID Interface
    PIC / Port
    1/1 Configured Absent
    1/0 Configured Absent

I've deleted the two ports from the VC :

    request virtual-chassis vc-port delete pic-slot 1 port 0
    request virtual-chassis vc-port delete pic-slot 1 port 1

Then the two ports are no longer listed on VC ports :

    show virtual-chassis vc-port all-members
    fpc0:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will try to plug in tranceivers an check if the et-0/1/0 and et-0/1/1 appears on "show interfaces terse".

    Regards,
