In this feature demo, we are covering Path Selection based on the Mean Opinion Score, also called MOS, and how to enable it in the 128T Networking Platform.
MOS is used to measure the quality of a connection or session. This is critical when dealing with unified communications sessions, such as voice or video calls. For example, if the quality of a call is poor, the end users experience is not good.
With the 128T Networking Platform, you can use the MOS to measure jitter, loss, or latency to determine which path in your network to send your sessions. This way, if one of your paths is having issues and the quality of a call is bad, you can send the packets in that session on a different path with better performance quality.
