Seems like a reasonable approach to me with only a brief hit during the gateway move process per vlan.

Subject: Migration Plan Cisco>Juniper
Hi
I have a Cisco 4900M that is to be retired and have been working on a migration plan for my EX4600
I have irb's mirrored on the Juniper from the Cisco with a different IP address .
In testing I found that removing L3 on the vlan from the Cisco (shutdown interface vlan xxx) allowed a route change and updating the IP address on the irb .vlan allows this to work.
The next hop is the firewall ip address via the cisco, stage one is to migrate the access switches in production and then later decommision the core as a get switches on backorder.
Are there any pitfalls I have overlooked in this?
Many Thanks
Darren
