  • 1.  FPC status showing PRESENT not ONLINE

    • I need a support on my srx5800 model FW,


      Initially I have an alarm in my redundancy firewall on secondary node 1, with an FPC 8 Major alarm.


      We did JOJI on the card as to see if the alarm will clear,  the alarm did clear after the Jack out Jack in .

      But the status of the FPC slot 8 is only showing as PRESENT now , instead of it to show as ONLINE. 

      I did some couple of command to bring it online , i keep getting Online command not supported for FPC in slot 8. What next can i do ?

       
      request chassis fpc node 1 slot 8 online

      Kindly recommend a solution to me to fix this status of the FPC

    If you already did OIR, in that case better to check with JTAC for RMA.

    Hello Elvin,

    Thanks for the response . I don't have JTAC support at the moment . Is there no other suggested command that can issue ? Rather to force restart the fpc card ?
