  • 1.  EX-4600 unconnected uplink interface showing error.

    Hi Team,

    I have implemented a ex-4600 (2vc) as distribution. The unconnected uplink interface et-0/0/24 (i.e without sfp) showing following error messages for every second. Due which it is increasing the cpu utilization presently 77%

    fpc0 : dcbcm_drv_port_get_link_status: Port Phy control get failed for port 24 error Feature unavailable

    fpc1 : dcbcm_drv_port_get_link_status: Port Phy control get failed for port 24 error Feature unavailable

    Hi Naveen,

    Port 24 refers to the BCM port and not the front panel port.

    Please check if you have any port configured as VCP but unused/down and delete them.

    switch> show virtual-chassis vc-port

    I have disabled the et-0/0/24 and et-1/0/24.But receiving same log messages.

    As I mentioned, Port 24 in the log message is NOT the front panel port et-0/0/24 and et-1/0/24.

    Please share output of below command:

    switch> show virtual-chassis vc-port
